If you are being actively molded by the hand of something greater, do you think it makes sense to call it domestication? Maybe it's a bad comparison; man did not create canines, but God created man. But I think if you're really lying at the feet of something beyond this world, eating their table scraps, we can call it a domestication of the spirit.
It is kind of scary, isn't it? You might feel like you're losing yourself. You are no longer a wolf. You are something else. You think differently from them, have less fear of the more powerful beings, eat different food, live differently. Less fear. When do we have good reason to be afraid of such entities because they have the wrong intentions? With such small minds, can we even understand when those intentions are malicious? When they are abusive?
Domesticated animals kept as pets do enjoy special privileges and protection. They also surrender their power. The integrity of their bodies. Their freedom. At least they don't know any better, huh?
I've decided I don't hate you. I just hate that you won't let me move. I hate that I forget it. I hate that I remember it. I hate that I do not control my legs. I hate that I do not control my organs. I hate that I do not control you. I hate that I know all of this. I don't hate you. I just want things to be better. I hate the fear. I hate the pain. I hate that there is nothing to gain, haha! Ahahaha! But things don't have to be useful. They are animals. They are mice. I hate the derailments. Let me run.
